Welcome to Dontec Training: Alarm Installation Course

• The course is designed for the complete beginner wishing to enter into this field of work in return for a potential high income.
• This course has no prerequisites and is aimed specifically though not exclusively, at those wishing to change their careers.
• This course will teach you how to fit various types of alarm panels.
• Give you the confidence to walk into a property and professionally install a complete system from start to finish.
• You will learn to site survey.
• Install all types of sensors, pirs, magnetic contacts, dual tech and shock sensors.
• How to install bell boxes, telephone diallers and Internal sounders etc.

On completion of the course, having been successful in three examinations (two written, one practical).

The participant will receive a Dontec Certificate and Part P compliance (for fuse spurs).

This will qualify you to be a recognised competent, person and is recognised by the alarm inspectorates and is deemed to be a requirement under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 (Reg 16).
